Vision - Inspire - Believe - Exceed
ViBe Dance was established in October 2013 by proud owners and sisters Emma and Sara Titchen. They decided to pursue their lifelong dream of opening their own dance school and have never looked back since.
Both owners and head choreographers at ViBe Dance School, Emma and Sara began dancing at a very early age at a new dance school which opened in the Warrington area in 1992. Sara just 5 years old was selected by the school to compete around the North West with Emma aged 7 shortly followed her. The sisters performed in their very 1st dance schools show in the same year at and this was to be the start of many more to come. Recognised as being highly talented, the sisters continued to perform solos, duets, troupes in competitions throughout the North West for many more years. During this time were honoured with numerous medals and trophies. They both performed 8 individual solos including ballet, tap, modern, musical comedy, character, song and dance, national and Greek as well as also being part of a duets and troupes. Sara as part of different duets without Emma was soon to team up with her big sister a few years later in a tap duet in competition work.
During these hectic times being completely dedicated passing many exams in RAD ballet, ISTD and ADA tap. Their overall hard work paid off as both Emma and Sara received media recognition in local papers as well as in their competitions outcome. Sara at only 7 years old picked up the trophy of "overall champion dancer of the festival" singled out of all ages up to 18years at one competition. Her talent of dance was shortly followed a few year later with a runner up place in the ‘’North West Dance scholarships’’ with a performance of her modern solo. Emma was not far behind at being noticed as she was selected along with a few others to attend the prestigious ‘’Hammond School of Dance in Chester’’, where she studied tap and ballet whilst in a disciplined environment and honoured to performed in regular showcases for the Hammond School.
The show performances continued into their teenage years with 3 appearances at Stage Struck which was a summer camp for children. Between these shows the sisters also performed as backing dancers over a 4 year period in pantomime’s at the Parr Hall Warrington others alongside performances with the European Ballet. Another unique opportunity was to come their way as they went to Liverpool to attend a full day workshop with the dance icon Wayne Sleep which both sisters had the honour to dance with and Bucksfiz pop group Eurovision winners.
They sadly reluctantly left the dance school in their teens due to college work and other commitments but Emma briefly returned one year later to perform with the ladies group one last time at the Parr Hall in their annual show. Still not satisfied with having no dance in their lives, the sisters decided to try another aspect of dance and joined Warrington Starlight’s Cheerleaders who at the time were the official dancers for Warrington Wolves rugby team. After a few years there, both sisters were selected to perform at Twickenham stadium at the Emirates Rugby World Series Sevens weekend in May 2008 which was aired live on BBC1 in front of millions of people. Shortly after they both branched out yet again into the area of street-dance and attended George Sampson’s (winner of Britain’s Got Talent) old dance school in Warrington which again they learnt a whole different range of dance styles to add to their ever growing range and still have great respect for him as an amazing dancer.
In 2011 a new dance and fitness craze ZUMBA was sweeping the world like crazy and they wanted a piece of the thrill so both became qualified ZUMBA instructors. Emma and Sara still not content with not performing decided to joined their own Seniors class in 2015 while entering the Vibe Dance school in ‘’The Challenge U.K Dance Competition finishing in 3rd place in the qualifies taking them onto the Finals in Blackpool in July 2016.
